1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ZapScholar website (zapscholar.com), submitting an enquiry, registering for a free counselling call, or enrolling in any ZapScholar programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

These Terms apply to all visitors, enquirers, applicants, enrolled students, and alumni of ZapScholar Institute.

ZapScholar Institute ("ZapScholar", "we", "us", "our") is a digital marketing education institute based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We operate zapscholar.com and deliver the Practicalised Marketing Program and related educational services.

3Programme Enrolment

Eligibility: ZapScholar programmes are open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Application process: Submitting a contact or enquiry form does not constitute enrolment. Enrolment is confirmed only upon:

• Completion of the enrolment form with accurate personal information
• Payment of the programme fee (full or agreed instalment)
• Receipt of a written confirmation from ZapScholar via email

Batch capacity: Each batch is permanently capped at 40 - 50 students. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-paid basis. Paying the fee secures your seat. If a batch is full, you will be notified and offered a position in the next available batch.

Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during enrolment. Providing false information may result in immediate removal from the programme without refund.

4Fees & Payment

Programme fee: The current fee for the Practicalised Marketing Program is ₹60,000 (Indian Rupees, inclusive of all taxes). This fee covers all programme content, tools, certifications, and services described on our website at the time of enrolment.

Payment: Fees must be paid in full prior to the programme start date, unless a specific instalment plan has been agreed in writing with ZapScholar.

Fee changes: ZapScholar reserves the right to change programme fees for future batches. The fee applicable to your enrolment is the fee confirmed in your enrolment confirmation email.

Payment methods: We accept UPI, net banking, debit/credit cards, and other payment methods listed at the time of checkout. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. ZapScholar does not store card details.

5Refund Policy

No refunds: All programme fees paid to ZapScholar are final and non-refundable, in full or in part, once payment has been made and enrolment is confirmed. This applies regardless of the reason for withdrawal, non-attendance, non-completion, dissatisfaction with the programme, or any other circumstance.

By making payment, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund under any circumstances, except where required by applicable Indian law.

Removal from the programme: If a student is removed from the programme for violating these Terms, providing false information during enrolment, or engaging in prohibited conduct, no refund will be issued.

Batch rescheduling by ZapScholar: If ZapScholar cancels or indefinitely postpones a batch before it begins, affected students will be offered a seat in the next available batch. This is the sole remedy available and does not entitle the student to a cash refund.

6Programme Delivery

Format: The Practicalised Marketing Program is delivered live online via video conferencing (currently Zoom) with collaboration via Discord. Session recordings may be provided for enrolled students' personal review only — they are not transferable.

Schedule: Live sessions run Monday to Friday for 18 weeks. The specific schedule is communicated to enrolled students before the batch starts. ZapScholar reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the schedule, substituting mentors, or rescheduling sessions where necessary.

Mentor changes: ZapScholar may substitute mentors with qualified alternatives where required due to unforeseen circumstances. This does not constitute a material change to the programme.

Force majeure: ZapScholar will not be liable for any failure or delay in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, natural disasters, government actions, or platform outages (e.g. Zoom, Discord).

Ad budgets: The ₹5 lakh+ live ad budget referenced in our marketing is a collective budget allocated across student groups for live campaign execution on real business partner accounts. Individual students do not manage ₹5 lakh independently. Budgets are managed under mentor supervision and allocated according to programme structure.

7Student Obligations

By enrolling, you agree to:

• Attend sessions: Attend live sessions regularly. High absenteeism (missing more than 25% of sessions without prior notice) may result in removal from the programme without refund.
• Complete assignments: Submit weekly assignments on time. Assignments are essential to programme progress and placement assistance.
• Respect mentors and peers: Treat all mentors, staff, and fellow students with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct will result in immediate removal.
• Maintain confidentiality: Do not share confidential business information relating to partner businesses whose campaigns you work on during the programme.
• No sharing of materials: Course materials, recordings, templates, and tools provided are for your personal use only. Sharing, reselling, or distributing them is prohibited.
• Accurate portfolio representation: When sharing your portfolio or outcomes from the programme, represent your actual contribution honestly and do not misattribute others' work.

8Intellectual Property

All content on zapscholar.com and within the programme — including but not limited to curriculum materials, session recordings, templates, frameworks, slides, tools configurations, and written content — is the intellectual property of ZapScholar Institute or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to access and use programme materials for your own learning during and after the programme. This licence does not include the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials to third parties
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit programme content
• Use ZapScholar's name, logo, or branding without written permission
• Reverse engineer or create derivative works from our materials

Work you create independently during the programme (e.g. campaigns you design, copy you write, strategies you develop) remains your intellectual property.

9Placement Assistance

ZapScholar provides guaranteed placement assistance to students who complete the programme in good standing (full attendance, all assignments submitted, no conduct violations).

What placement assistance includes:

• Portfolio review and professional formatting guidance
• CV and LinkedIn optimisation support
• Mock interview preparation with mentors
• Introduction to ZapScholar's hiring partner network
• Job opportunity sharing relevant to your specialisation and location

Salary ranges referenced in our marketing (e.g. ₹4–8 LPA) reflect outcomes achieved by previous students and are not guaranteed for any individual student.

10Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, ZapScholar's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the programme fee you paid to ZapScholar.

ZapScholar shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage
• Loss of earnings, business opportunity, or career advancement
• Failure to achieve specific salary targets or employment outcomes
• Technical failures of third-party platforms (Zoom, Discord, payment providers)
• Actions or inactions of hiring companies in the placement network
• Any loss arising from your own breach of these Terms

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

11Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our website or programme for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other students' accounts
• Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against any mentor, staff member, or student
• Record or share live sessions without written permission from ZapScholar
• Impersonate ZapScholar, its staff, or mentors in any context
• Use course content or brand assets in commercial activities without permission
• Provide false or misleading information in testimonials, reviews, or portfolio claims
• Engage in any conduct that brings ZapScholar into disrepute

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate removal from the programme without refund and potential legal action.

12Termination

By ZapScholar: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend a student's enrolment at any time, without refund, if:

• The student violates these Terms or the student conduct policy
• The student provided false information during enrolment
• The student engages in conduct that disrupts the learning environment or harms other students
• Non-payment of agreed fees

By the student: You may withdraw from the programme at any time. Withdrawal does not entitle you to a refund, in accordance with the Refund Policy in Section 5, and does not affect any obligations already incurred.

Upon termination (for any reason), your access to course materials, recordings, and tools will be revoked. The provisions of Sections 5 (Refund Policy), 8 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Dispute Resolution), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.

13Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the programme, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith discussions.

To initiate a dispute, contact us at support@zapscholar.com with a written description of the issue. We will respond within 14 business days.

If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may pursue formal legal remedies as described in Section 14.

14Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

By enrolling in a ZapScholar programme, you irrevocably consent to this jurisdiction.

15Changes to These Terms

ZapScholar reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Post a notice on our website
• Notify enrolled students by email where changes materially affect their rights

Your continued use of our website or participation in the programme after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using our services and notify us in writing.
